Desarrollo y evolución de la tercera dimensión de la pintura. Del siglo XV a principios del XX

Abstract

Este artículo trata el desarrollo de la tercera dimensión de la pintura desde un enfoque histórico, examinando la evolución de este fenómeno de crecimiento tridimensional en su primera etapa, que abarca desde el siglo XV hasta los comienzos del XX. En esta primera fase el proceso es lento, partiendo de la implantación de la técnica del óleo, se analizan las primeras aplicaciones de pincelada tímidamente cargadas de materia pictórica que, de un modo paulatino, van aumentando su volumetría a lo largo de los distintos periodos artísticos. This article discusses the development of the third dimension of painting from a historical perspective, examining the evolution of the phenomenon of dimensional growth in its first stage, spanning from s. XV to the early s. XX. In this first phase, the process is slow, since the implementation of the oil technique, the first applications of touch sheepishly laden pictorial material that, in a gradual way, their volumes are increasing throughout the different artistic periods. The intensification of the process in s. XX to the present day will be subject of future articles.
