“La Historia de los Rekabitas” Introducción, traducción y notas

Abstract

The History of the Rekabites is a pseudepigraphon that draws extensively on Jewish sources. In its present state, it has been christianized both in its textual transmission and in its theme. In this article, we present an introduction and an annotated translation into Spanish of the Greek and the Syriac versions in parallel columns. This synoptic presentation facilitates the study of the text and makes evident the expansive character of the Syriac version.

La “Historia de los Rekabitas” es un pseudoepígrafo que procede de fuentes judías. En su estado actual, el texto ha sido cristianizado tanto en su transmisión textual como en el tema. En este artículo ofrecemos una introducción y una traducción española anotada de las versiones griega y siriaca dispuesta en columnas paralelas. Esta presentación sinóptica facilita el estudio del texto y evidencia el carácter expansivo de la versión siriaca.
