Los beneficios de la acción tutorial en los estudiantes universitarios con síndrome de Asperger

Abstract

El número de estudiantes universitarios aquejados de algún tipo de discapacidad ha aumentado notablemente en los últimos años. Sin duda, este es un hecho que refleja los esfuerzos de la Universidad por la inclusión de este colectivo que, hasta hace poco, ni siquiera se planteaba la opción de tener una titulación superior. No obstante, pese a la laudable labor de las universidades españolas en esta dirección, aún queda mucho por hacer. Este trabajo tiene como propósito destacar la suma importancia que tiene la acción tutorial para conseguir una integración plena del estudiante discapacitado y, particularmente, de la discapacidad conocida como síndrome de Asperger

The number of university students with disabilities has increased markedly in recent years. Undoubtedly, this is a fact that demonstrates the efforts of the University for the inclusion of this population, which some years ago did not think about having a degree. However, in spite of the praiseworthy job of Spanish Universities in this direction, much still remains to be done. This paper aims to emphasize the great importance that has the tutorial sessions in order to achieve a complete integration of the student with disabilities in the University and, particularly, of the students with Asperger’s syndrome
