Audio describers need to develop, among other skills, social sensitivity, knowledge of film language, fluency in their own language and culture, and an understanding of the semiotics of the image (Díaz-Cintas, 2007; Navarrete, 1997). Moreover, as proved by previous studies, audio description —-originally understood as a communication support service (AENOR, 2005) for blindand visually impaired people—may work as an excellent tool in foreign language learning (Talaván et al., 2022; Vermeulen & Escobar, 2021; Navarrete, 2018).In order to delve into the acquisition of the necessary skills for audio description and, simultaneously, to improve the students’ level of English as a foreign language during a course on AD and didactics of English, a pedagogical experiment was carried out involving the identification of aural and visual elements found in a short movie and considered relevant to the plot. Subsequently, the preparation and delivery of an AD in English was to be performed. The activity was carried out with 35 participants from different Spanish universities, enrolled in the course "Audio description and English as a foreign language education" developed within the framework of the ADAS project (Audio Description for Language didactics). This study reveals the results obtained from this five-stage activity, in terms of the acquisition of specific skills and the raisingof awareness of the importance of audio description in today's film industry.

Within the framework of the virtual modality of classes and remote work, the changes imposed after the state of health emergency and confinement decreed by the COVID-19 pandemic were profound. In this context, the objective of this work is to identify strengths, weaknesses and prospects in teaching under the non-face-to-face modality called 'Remote Emergency Education' (ERE) at the National Intercultural University of the Central Jungle "Juan Santos Atahualpa" (UNISCJSA), in Peru. The methodology adheres to the qualitative approach with a sample of 66 students out of total of 140 from the Professional School of Bilingual Intercultural Education (EPEIB). Among the main results, two phases of the ERE stand out, one to face the quarantine and the other, with the assistance of the Peruvian government through the PMESUT program, which trained teachers from public universities under certain parameters. The analysis of the results in the students highlights that 30% regularly entered the Teams platform synchronously, none of them activated their cameras when exchanging communication, since the main problem they faced was connectivity. In turn, during the sessions the students carry out various activities, such as caring for minors in their charge, a high percentage in turn, listened to their classes by cell phone. The conclusions we can reach establish that education in times of pandemic is reflected in an uncertain reality, since the reproduction of knowledge denatured the learning of students from nativecommunities, Quechua-speaking youth, ashaninka, asheninka, yanesha, nomatsigenga and kakinte, since they did not develop educational experiences in their mother tongue, this being the first indicator of bilingualism and pedagogical foundation according tothe National Curriculum Basic Design of the Initial Teacher Training of the Bilingual Intercultural Education Study Program (2018). Finally, the UNISCJSA in this period was not adapted to education in the virtual modality, but what was applied was the (ERE) that did not include technological and pedagogical innovation.

This paper studies Roman women through theatre and its application as a didactic strategy. Theatrical activity started in Rome in 240 B.C. because of the constant influence of the Greek and Etruscan cultures. It is important to highlight those dramatic literary sources from the Roman period have been preserved and they constitute a corpus of great value when it comes to understanding and exploring the society and the role of women during the Roman period. One of the most well-known authors was Plautus. He devoted his life to Palliata comedy, and it is relevant to emphasisethat 21 comedies which were probably written by him have been preserved. On the basis of this literary corpus, the main objective is to analyse the most prominent female figures in his comedies and to compare this literary source with epigraphic sources, which provide us with direct information about this society. Therefore, through these comedies and their interpretation, we will try to know and transmit what was the role of Roman women in their society: which are the most represented figures and what wasthe vision they had of them. In this way, the aim of this study is to show the didactic possibilities of theatre in the teaching of Roman history and, specifically, of women. Through this interpretation carried out by the students themselves, they will beable to become aware of the topic to be dealt with and become more sensitive to the women who formed part of Roman society, as, by working beyond a reading of the plays in the classroom, they will be able to reflect on whether they consider that women would be as they are shown in the comedies or whether, on the other hand, they could have a different role. In this way, they will be able to make an objective criticism of the sources and reflect on the importance they had in their society. In conclusion, wecould say that thanks to the theatre and, specifically in this case, to Plautus' comedies, we can explore the features of how society was during that period of time and, thanks to the epigraphic sources, we have the necessary information to get a more objective idea of the role they occupied in their society.

The Historical-Cultural Heritage that Córdoba has represents not only its main hallmark, but also a fundamental employment niche for young people. The implementation of certain policies and the increase in tourists (national and foreign) in recent years has meant a great change for the city, especially in the surroundings of the Historic Center, and for the population itself, with effects typical of the current "Gentrification". The INTERCULTURA Teaching Innovation Project has tried to be an open window to the historical-archaeological heritageof Córdoba, in different formats and languages, that serves as a didactic experience, but also a work experience, to students from different university degrees who, a priori, do not They would have any kind of relationship (Art History, Cultural Management, Language Sciences, Translation and Interpretation, Tourism).
