Although processes governing hydrological dynamics in a Mediterranean watershed are deeply affected by
a high variability due to intense rainfall events, as well as by groundwater, and these facts provoke a hard
diffculty on the prediction of the long-term solute inputs, because the strong in
uence that the discharge
variability implies into that of the solutes concentrations, it is possible to simulate with a high grade of
reliability the inputs of a variable at the watershed in those cases where no registered data are available. In this
document it is proposed a statistical approach to fill those voids on the time series of water quality measured
data, and to predict full time series, through those correlations existing between registered concentrations
and loads of solutes at the different control points on the
uvial network.
