Hechos ecológicos que condicionaron el inicio de las civilizaciones

Abstract

Tras el cambio climático que dio origen al Holoceno, el hombre progresivamente pasó de cazador-recolector a agricultor, y posteriormente a ganadero, sedentario. La riqueza en ecosistemas del Creciente Fértil propició el éxito en la obtención de plantas aclimatadas y animales domesticados. El trigo escanda y esprilla, cebada, guisante, garbanzo, lentejas, arveja y el lino, junto a la oveja, cabra, vaca y cerdo, constituyeron el ensamblaje o paquete de especies que dio ventaja de salida hacia la civilización de esta región, frente a otras poblaciones humanas de otros lugares del mundo que no contaron con esa riqueza de especies susceptibles de ser domesticadas. Se discute la incidencia de cuestiones ecológicas en estos hechos y en la falta de sincronía en la aparición de las civilizaciones.

With the climate change that gave origin to the Holocene progressively the man happened from hunter - collector to farmer, and later to cattle, sedentary. The richness in ecosystems of the Fertile Crescent one propitiated the success in the obtaining of acclimated plants and domesticated animals. The wheat escanda and sprilla, the barley, the pea, chick-pea, lentils, vetch and the linen, besides the sheep, goat, cow and pork they constituted the assembly or package of species that gave advantage of exit towards the civilization of this region. Other human populations of other places of the world did not possess this richness of species capable of being domesticated. There is discussed the incident of ecological questions in these facts and in the lack of synchrony in the appearance of the civilizations.
