El turismo experiencial como forma de turismo responsable e intercultural

Abstract

Este trabajo realiza una revisión bibliográfica y un estado de la cuestión sobre las nuevas formas de turismo experiencial y vivencial, incluyendo particularmente el slow travel y aquellas modalidades turísticas que propician las relaciones interculturales directas e igualatorias entre los turistas y las poblaciones visitadas. Además de realizar una acotación conceptual de la experiencia turística como centro de atención del turismo contemporáneo, se estudia ésta desde la perspectiva de la oferta y la demanda, la gestión estratégica de los destinos turísticos y la necesaria reorientación de las acciones de promoción y comercialización y de diseño de productos turísticos ante los nuevos hábitos de la demanda turística internacional

This paper is a literature review and a state of the question on the new forms of experiential tourism, including particularly those slow travel and tourist arrangements that foster direct relationships between tourists and the local population. In addition to a conceptual dimension of the tourism experience as a focus of contemporary tourism, it is studied from the perspective of offer and tourism demand, the strategic management of tourist destinations and the necessary reorientation of the promotional and marketing design of tourism products to new habits of international tourism demand.
