El Konjunktiv en los textos periodísticos alemanes

Abstract

Normally, it is believed that the German Konjunktiv corresponds to the Spanish subjunctive. To verify this hypothesis, we have analyzed the two forms of this German verbal mode in journalistic texts, such as the news and the reportage. For konjunktiv I, it is almost always used to express Indirect Speech and corresponds to indicative tenses in Spanish. Konjunktiv II is usually translated as subjunctive or conditional.

Normalmente, se cree que el Konjunktiv alemán se corresponde con el subjuntivo español. Para verificar esta suposición se han analizado las dos formas de este modo alemán en textos periodísticos como la noticia o el reportaje. En el caso del Konjunktiv I, se emplea casi siempre para expresar el estilo indirecto y se corresponde con tiempos de indicativo en español. El Konjunktiv II suele traducirse como subjuntivo o condicional.
