El Asno de oro: un reflejo de la sociedad romana

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende realizar un análisis de los diferentes sectores de la sociedad romana en época altoimperial que aparecen representados en Las Metamorfosis de Apuleyo. Así pues, el objetivo principal es tratar de comprender cómo actuaba un romano en este momento, además de establecer una imagen de las relaciones que se daban entre diferentes grupos sociales. Así pues, se pretende resaltar a aquellos individuos pertenecientes a los grupos más alejados del poder, como por ejemplo las mujeres, los fuera de la ley o los esclavos. Además, se abordará la cuestión de las creencias populares y su manifestación en la sociedad.

This work intends to make an analysis of the different sectors of Roman society in the high imperial period that are represented in the Metamorphoses of Apuleyo. Thus, the main objective is to try to understand how a Roman was acting at this moment, as well as to establish an image of the relationships that were given between different social groups. Thus, it is intended to highlight those individuals belonging to the most distant groups of power, such as women, outlaws or slaves. In addition, the question of popular beliefs and their manifestation in society will be addressed.
