Espacio geográfico y tiempo histórico en la literatura infantil y los relatos viajeros

Abstract

Las experiencias literarias constituyen un vehículo valido para la enseñanza del espacio geográfico y el tiempo histórico en el aula de Educación Primaria e Infantil. Esta afirmación se pretende validar mediante la realización de un Proyecto de Innovación Educativa llevado a cabo desde el Área de Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Córdoba y la Universidade da Coruña con el alumnado de las asignaturas de Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales. Se parte del presupuesto de que literatura infantil puede favorecer un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje positivo y motivador en el alumnado, a la vez que se amplían conocimientos o se ensayan nuevas destrezas. Entre los resultados derivados de este proyecto se encuentra una relación de textos adecuados para trabajar los aspectos relacionados con el tiempo y el espacio, pero también válidos para acercarse a otras cuestiones sociales, culturales y de género que subyacen en las obras consideradas y que son susceptibles de trabajarse en el aula.

The literary experiences constitute a valid vehicle for the teaching of the geographical space and the historical time in the classroom of primary and infantile education. This statement is intended to validate through the realization of a project of educational innovation carried out from the area of didactics of the social sciences of the University of Córdoba and the University of Coruña with the students of the subjects of didactics of the social sciences. It is based on the budget that children's literature can favor a positive and motivating teaching-learning process in students, while expanding knowledge or rehearsing new skills. Among the results derived from this project is a list of texts suitable to work on aspects related to time and space, but also valid to approach other social, cultural and gender issues that underlie the works considered and are susceptible of working in the classroom.
