We often find among university policies and practices, including management bodies, with the “inclusive” badge, but what does the academy understand by inclusion? From a broad concept, we propose as objectives (1) to analyze the bodies responsible for inclusion of the institutional organization from an anachronistic perspective, that is, during two legislatures (8 year period) of the highest management body at the University, the team of Rectorship and systematic registration of the institutional changes of their organizational charts and (2) analyze the strategic documentation (Statutes and Strategic Plans) in the ten Andalusian universities through a deductive coding with the software ATLAS.ti v.8. The results, in the first place, confirm the growing tendency to include the term inclusion in its organizational charts at the level of vice-rectors or Delegations of the Rector and the topics with which they are most frequently associated are Social Responsibility or social action, Equality, Students and also, although to a lesser extent, to Strategic Planning. On the contrary, the strategic documentation does not accept it with the same speed so that the terms diversity, inclusion, equality and inequality appear with a lower frequency than company, entrepreneurship, economy and excellence, which guides us on the relevance in its lines of performance.
