El estudio de la naturaleza humana en Ramon Llull es fundamental puesto que ello sirve a Llull para mostrar la magnificencia divina y, gracias a las dignitates dei, demostrår que la Trinidad es necesaria, porque si no Dios sería un ser pasivo y eso es imposible. Dicha demostración posee rasgos apologéticos, ya que en Llull todo gira en tomo a la conversión del infiel.
