La Ribeira Sacra (Galicia, España): interpretación, turismo y conservación

Abstract

Ante la declaración de la Ribeira Sacra como Reserva de la Biosfera de la UNESCO (2021), el propósito de la investigación es presentar acciones para la conservación, y gestión turística de dicho patrimonio natural y cultural, previniendo impactos como el incendio del pasado mes de septiembre. Para llegar a buen término este trabajo, aplicamos una metodología cualitativa con un enfoque empírico. Además de la mejora de la interpretación, resumimos la restauración patrimonial y la preservación del medio entre los principales hallazgos. De la gestión socioeconómica, abordamos proyectos de investigación, la difusión de este destino de interior, y códigos para luchar contra la despoblación. Estos resultados contrastan con los estudios acerca de los monumentos y recursos sostenibles del conjunto. Entre las conclusiones, la investigación ofrece una visión completa de la interpretación, turismo y conservación de la Ribera Sagrada, para alcanzar su reconocimiento definitivo como Patrimonio Mundial.

Given the recent declaration of the Ribeira Sacra as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (2021), the purpose of the research is to present actions for the conservation and tourist management of said natural and cultural heritage, preventing impacts such as the fire of last month of September. To carry out this work, we apply a qualitative methodology with an empirical approach. In addition to the improvement of the interpretation, we summarize the heritage restoration and the preservation of the environment among the main findings. From socio-economic management, we tackle research projects, the dissemination of this inland destination and codes to fight depopulation. These results contrast with the studies on the monuments and sustainable resources of the complex. Among the conclusions, the research offers a complete vision of the interpretation, tourism and conservation of the Sacred Bank, to achieve its definitive recognition as World Heritage.
