Notas para una contribución de las versiones árabes a la crítica textual de la Biblia: Job 7,4 y sus lecciones varice

Abstract

En el presente artículo se analizan tres versiones árabes de Job 7,4, cuyos textos son puestos en relación con sus originales respectivos, teniendo presente el texto hebreo masorético. Con ello se pretende llamar la atención de los editores de los textos bíblicos, así como reivindicar la necesidad de aprovechar la ingente cantidad de material existente en árabe —constantemente ignorado-- con el que poder contribuir a las labores de critica textual.

In the present article I approach the analysis of three Arabic versions of Job 7,4, which are contrasted with their respective originals, having the Hebrew Masoretic text in mind. It is my attempt to call the editors' attention to the Biblical texts. and to vindicate the need to profit from the greatest possiblc material in Arabic —frequently badly known— that will serve as the oasis for relevant contributions to textual critique.
