dc.description.abstract | Abordamos el análisis de dos films del cineasta Tsai Ming-Liang, Journey to the west (2014) y Tu cara (2018), con el fin de relacionar el tratamiento especial del rostro con la posible emergencia de un retrato filmado en los mismos. Para ello, contrastaremos las diferencias entre la formalización e ideología del rostro en el cine clásico, que no permite la independencia de sus elementos ni, por extensión, la posibilidad del retrato, en contraposición al que se da en un sistema estético, el visual oriental de Tsai, donde la herencia de la pintura tradicional china resulta decisiva en la aparición de un rostro filmado independiente que se presenta, creemos, como un retrato cinematográfico en toda su integridad. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | We approach the analysis of two films by the filmmaker Tsai Ming-Liang, Journey to the west (2014) and Your face (2018), in order to connect the special treatment of the face and the possible emergence of a filmed portrait in them. To do so, we will contrast the differences between the formalisation and ideology of the face in classical cinema, which does not allow for the independence of its elements or, by extension, the possibility of aportraiture, in contrast to that in Tsai's Eastern visual aesthetic system, where the heritage of traditional Chinese painting is decisive in the emergence of an independent filmed face that is presented, we believe, as a cinematic portrait in its entirety. | es_ES |
