El Gólem de Gustav Meyrink. Trasiego de lo indecible

Abstract

El artículo centrado en la obra "El Golem" de Gustav Meyrink, explora la intrincada relación entre los espacios de indeterminación, donde se despliega la experiencia mística enraizada en la Kabbalah y el Tarot, tanto como la intersección de la literatura fantástica y el universo místico y ocultista que la permea. Por otra parte se analiza cómo los momentos de confusión, lucidez, estados de adormecimiento y periodos de amnesia de Pernath desencadenan la expropiación inestable de temas fundamentales como la aparición del Golem y su enlace con un pasado oculto. Asimismo se intentará explorar la capa de complejidad que añaden las experiencias del narrador en su doble función como agente y constructor del mundo ficcional. También se analizará el efecto del espacio metafórico y espiritual que reflejan tanto la dualidad como los momentos de revelación.

The article focused on Gustav Meyrink's "The Golem" explores the intricate relationship between the spaces of indeterminacy, where the mystical experience rooted in the Kabbalah and the Tarot unfolds, as well as the intersection of fantastic literature and the mystical and occult universe that permeates it. On the other hand, it will analyze how Pernath's moments of confusion, lucidity, states of numbness and periods of amnesia trigger the unstable expropriation of fundamental themes such as the appearance of the Golem and its link to an occult past. An attempt will also be made to explore the layer of complexity added by the narrator's experiences in his dual role as agent and constructor of the fictional world. The effect of the metaphorical and spiritual space that both duality and moments of revelation reflect will also be analyzed.
