La revolución liberal en la Granada de 1836: la vuelta a la constitución de 1812

Abstract

Los liberales granadinos promueven una serie de movimientos revolucionarios, que tratan de restaurar la vigencia del sistema constitucional liberal de 1812. Una élite militar y civil liberal consigue recuperar el control político de la ciudad y provincia, promoviendo rápidas reformas gracias a la destitución de los que ocupaban los diferentes cargos públicos y al nombramiento de personas afectas para su causa. Esta vuelta al sistema constitucional tuvo, no obstante, escaso recorrido y vigencia, aunque durante el poco tiempo en que se mantuvo ejecutó decisivas actuaciones.
