This paper analyses the plasma-wall interaction of a plasma in contact with a conducting planar surface when the positive-ion temperature is not negligible compared with the electron one. The electric potential from the plasma to the wall is obtained by the appropriate formulation of the model as an initial-value problem as well as some features useful for experimental applications, such as the positive current-to-voltage characteristics, the saturation current density, the floating potential or an estimation of the sheath thickness. Finally, it is analysed how all these quantities depend on the ionization degree and the positive-ion temperature. Published by AIP Publishing.
