Educación y praxis artístico-visual de la nobleza hispana en los tratados y planes de estudios del siglo XVIII

Abstract

La educación artística y en la praxis artístico-visual de la nobleza en la España del siglo XVIII se refleja en diversas fuentes, continuando o cambiando los presupuestos desarrollados en centurias anteriores. Los tratados de educación de las elites, e incluso los planes de estudios de instituciones centradas en la educación aristocrática, nos señalan las líneas principales de un conocimiento y ejercicio de las artes visuales que se convirtieron finalmente en una de las caracterizaciones culturales más sobresalientes del estamento nobiliario.

The aristocratic knowledge and praxis of the visual arts in the 18th Century Spain is a part of the subject of several historical sources, which changed or continued the basis developed in precedent Centuries. A number of treatises on elite’s pedagogy, but even the study programs of the most important institutions for the noble’s education in the country, show the headlines of the knowledge and exercise of visual arts that had become one of the most outstanding cultural characterizing features of the aristocratic class.
