Turismo de castillos y fortalezas: la ruta de los Templarios en España

Abstract

The Middle Ages attracts a growing number of tourists, interested in knowing those temples, churches, bridges, cathedrals, castles and safeguards that have survived over the centuries. One of the centers of attraction and growing interest is the so-called Temple Order, which disappeared in the 14th century, and in particular the enclaves in which said organization was established. The objective of this work is to analyze and channel a possible route whose main motivation is to follow the footsteps of the Templars in the Iberian Peninsula, specifically from León, one of its main squares, to Córdoba, capital of Al-Andalus and symbol of power Muslim in his time. The work is developed through different dwellings where these enigmatic gentlemen left their symbolism engraved, and that today they form an important heritage for Spain. The analysis shows how the route of the Templars through Spain can become the object of that type of tourist who seeks to unite the historical enigmas with heritage. The order of the Temple represents from the tourist point of view the union of the heritage with facts in singular places of excess attraction for the visitor.

La Edad Media atrae cada vez un mayor número de turistas, interesados por conocer aquellos templos, iglesias, puentes, catedrales, castillos y salvaguardas que han sobrevivido al paso de los siglos. Uno de los focos de atracción e interés creciente es la denominada orden del Temple, desaparecida en el siglo XIV, y en concreto los enclaves en los que dicha organización estuvo establecida. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en analizar y canalizar una posible ruta cuya motivación principal sea seguir las huellas de los templarios por la península ibérica, concretamente desde León, una de sus plazas principales, hasta Córdoba, capital de Al-Ándalus y símbolo del poder musulmán en su época. El trabajo se desarrolla a través de diferentes moradas donde estos enigmáticos caballeros dejaron grabada su simbología, y que a día de hoy conforman un importante patrimonio para España. Del análisis realizado se desprende cómo la ruta de los templarios por España puede llegar a ser objeto de aquel tipo de turista que busca unir los enigmas históricos con el patrimonio. La orden del Temple representa desde el punto de vista turístico la unión del patrimonio con hechos en lugares singulares de sobrado atractivo para el visitante.
