Estudio sobre la patria potestad antecedentes históricos : Grecia y Esparta

Abstract

En este artículo se trata el origen y evolución de la patria potestad hasta llegar a nuestros días. Se analiza el sentido de este concepto en la educación de Grecia, Esparta y Roma y la responsabilidad que en cada uno tenía el Estado y el padre de familia. Finalmente se trata la patria potestad en el derecho civil español, su contenido y representación.

This article deals with the origin and evolution of parental authority until our days. The meaning of this concept in the education of Greece, Sparta and Rome and the responsibility that each State had and the father of family is analyzed. Finally it deals with parental authority in Spanish civil law, its content and representation.
