Percepciones vitales en Prolongada en el tiempo (1988): Concha Lagos y la poética del recuerdo

Abstract

Concha Lagos fue una mujer de absoluta modernidad que vivió distintos regímenes políticos dictatoriales y democráticos, llegando a encumbrarse como una de las gestoras culturales más destacadas del medio siglo. A pesar de ello, su producción está marcada por las fuertes connotaciones que poseen las consideraciones vitales más íntimas de Lagos y que difuminan las lindes entre realidad y ficción. En el trascurso de sus memorias, nos enfrentamos a declaraciones que nos permiten reflexionar sobre los conceptos de tiempo, vida, soledad o dolor. También gozarán de especial relevancia el acercamiento a la naturaleza –que en su discurso se vivifica en el presente– impregnada de los semas positivistas que acarrean su infancia en la sierra cordobesa, lo que justifica un proceso de ascensión a través de la misma. En este devenir, la infancia y la naturaleza cobran vital candencia en su oposición a la cotidianidad y los valores de finales del siglo XX. De este modo, el recuerdo se constituye como un motivo que permea sobre las páginas de Prolongada en el tiempo y atraviesa su producción poética.

Concha Lagos was a woman of absolute modernity who lived through different dictatorial and democratic political regimes, becoming one of the most prominent cultural managers of the half-century. Despite this, his production is marked by the strong connotations that possess the most intimate life considerations of Lagos and blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. In the course of his memoirs, we are confronted with statements that allow us to reflect on the concepts of time, life, loneliness or pain. The approach to nature that in his speech is vivified in the present imbued with the positivist semas that bring his childhood in the sierra cordobesa, which justifies a process of ascension through it. In this development, childhood and nature take on vital importance in their opposition to the daily life and values of the late twentieth century. In this way, the memory is constituted as a motif that permeates the pages of Prolongada en el tiempo and crosses his poetic production.
