Las influencias culturológicas en traducciones literarias

Abstract

A través de un capítulo de la novela epistolar Más allá en la Patagonia de la autora María Bamberg, se pretende analizar las diferencias entre el original y su traducción ya que salta a la vista con frecuentemente en traducciones literarias que la traducción será más bien una obra propia. Las razones de esta incongruencia son múltiples y van desde problemas idiomáticos hasta culturológicos. En el caso presente, la novela fue publicada primeramente en idioma alemán y posteriormente traducida, se nota indudablemente que en la traducción fueron reformulados o parcialmente suprimidos párrafos e ideas que aluden a un contexto cultural. El presente marco analítico quiere enfocarse exactamente en este aspecto si la traducción está sometida a una censura culturológica.

With the help of a chapter of the epistolary novel “Más allá en la Patagonia” from Maria von Bamberg the present contribution wants to analyze the differences between the original and the translation because frequently it can be observed that literature translations are proper works. The reasons can be varies and the range should be from linguistic problems to culturelogicals. In the present case first the novel was written and published in German to be translated into Spanish in a further step. It can be observed that in the translation some paragraphs are reformulated or excluded that allude to a culture context. The present analyze revolves around his question if a translation is submitted by a culture census.
