Los japonesismos culinarios

Abstract

Dentro del grupo de japonesismos utilizados en el español actual, los japonesismos culinarios constituyen la segunda mayor área referencial (16 voces de un total de 92 ítems). En el presente artículo se pretende, por primera vez en la lengua española, realizar un estudio exhaustivo de los japonesismos culinarios, atendiendo a diferentes perspectivas (formal, semántica e histórica), además de indicar su grado de adaptación al inventario léxico del español.

Japanese loanwords related to cooking constitute the second biggest semantic field (16 words out of a total of 92) of all such words used currently in Spanish. For the first time con-cerning Spanish, the culinary Japanese loanwords are described thoroughly from a formal, semantic and historical perspective in the present article. Further, the degree of adaptation of these loanwords within the Spanish lexical inventory will be indicated.
