Abstract

The emergence of new digital technologies has brought about a change in the paradigm of human communication. In addition, they have led to the arrival of new media to communicate (unthinkable just a few decades ago), through which the immediacy of communication has multiplied exponentially. The new virtual reality allows a greater proximity between communicators, so that, in the digital age, the mechanisms of oral communication have regained a major role (global village). Administration of Justice is a communication system and, consequently, has been highly affected by the appearance of new ICT. This has produced a necessary change in communication systems in the Justice Administration, a change that in Spain has been reflected in the incessant legislative activity that has occurred in recent years for the implementation of the new management system in the Administration of Justice (LexNET). However, although the new digital system comes to satisfy the need for more effective, faster and more accurate communication, its implementation, by novel and specialized, is not free of risks, risks that have already become manifest in recent years.
