Estudio de canción Divino y claro cielo de Luis Carrillo y Sotomayor

Abstract

Estudio del contenido, estructura, estilo, métrica y pragmática de la composición de Luis Carrillo y Sotomayor titulada Divino y claro cielo, prestando atención a la edición y transmisión de los dos impresos de 1611 y 1613, respectivamente. Para ello, se realizará un repaso por la localización y el contexto de la composición, aportando algunos datos sobre la biografía de este autor que no se adscribe a una sola corriente estética, sino que conjuga temas renacentistas con una actitud más cercana al Barroco en su alarde de erudición y al Manierismo, adecuando la materia al modo, primando la forma frente al estilo. Se hará un repaso por toda su obra y se destacarán algunos aspectos sobre su contexto histórico y estético dentro del último tercio del siglo xvi, donde se da una gran renovación de la lírica culta.

Study of the content, structure, style, meter and pragmatics of Luis Carrillo y Sotomayor composition entitled Divino y claro cielo, paying attention to the edition and transmission of the two printed copies from 1611 and 1613, respectively. I will review the location and context of the composition, giving some details about the biography of the author, who is not affiliated to a single aesthetic current, but combines Renaissance themes with an attitude closer to the Baroque in its display of erudition and Mannerism, adapting the topic to the manner, giving priority to the form instead of the style. I will revise his complete work, underlaining some aspects about his historic and aesthetic context within the last third of the sixteenth century, where there is a great renovation of the highbrow poetry.
