Clasificación de la pintura inversa sobre vidrio

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar una clasificación de obras realizadas con la técnica de la pintura inversa sobre vidrio. Aunque fue una modalidad pictórica muy extendida, es poco conocida y no existe mucha bibliografía en español que hable de ella. A partir del estudio comparativo de varias piezas, que se darán a conocer, y que se pueden encontrar en algunos museos o colecciones privadas, incluso en hogares particulares, se analizará cómo fue su evolución hasta convertirse en un referente en las vanguardias de principios de siglo XX.

The objective of this work is to carry out a classification of works made with the reverse painting technique on glass. Although it was a very widespread pictorial modality, it is little known and there is not much literatura in Spanish that talks about it. From the comparative study of several pieces, which will be announced, and which can be found in some museums or private collections, even in private homes, we will analyze how their evolution was until they became a reference in the avant-garde of the begining of the 20th century.
