Abstract
Stochastically complete spacelike hypersurfaces in Generalized Robertson-Walker (GRW) spacetimes whose constant mean curvature satisfies a natural bound are studied. When the GRW spacetime obeys certain energy conditions we obtain new characterization results for these hypersurfaces. Moreover, we derive several applications for physically relevant models.
