This research aims to characterize wine tasting as a recreational and educational enotouristic event whose potential can be transferred to the translation classroom through the wine-tasting card. Therefore, the main purpose of this work is to present a didactic proposal based on the creation of documentary resources using the tasting card as a starting point. The activities proposed —proposal of a wine-tasting card model, corpora compilation and management of wine-tasting cards, selection of documentary resources and translation equivalents, as well as the creation of a multilingual collaborative glossary— constitute, in our opinion, a gradual introduction to the world of wine through the acquisition of wine terminology associated with wine tourism and the practice of instrumental competence through collaborative resources. We must highlight the versatility of the wine-tasting card, as it contains both features and properties or metaphors related to wine and, therefore, it allows us to expand the possibilities of the document as a educational tool.
