In this article we approach, as an example, the work of some of the most outstanding artists in the history of representation who have shown an interest in madness through their work in a certain way. Such is the case of Goya, as regards painting, or Michelangelo Antonioni and Jean Claude Lauzon, as far as cinema is concerned. Nevertheless, we do not want to overlook the delirious figure of Don Quixote, from which our study will start in order to culminate in the analysis of the LT22 Radio la Colifata documentary and its representation in advertising. On the journey through the art of these masters, we will point out isolation versus permeability to objective reality, which is inseparable of madness.
