Our society needs good foreign language and CLIL teachers, ready to prepare individuals for the XXI century. We show ways of making future teachers learn didactics in a practical way while developing their oral skills and make them reflect about the teaching practice. This paper is also an attempt to show how FL learning gets better results when emotional intelligence is taking into account. The research carried out tries to show that under a humanistic approach and starting from students’ needs, it is possible to create an appropriate learning atmosphere.
