La nouveauté de notre étude découle du maniement de la version manuscrite de la traduction. Dans ce travail nous présentons une analyse documentaire sur les raisons qui ont déclenché la traduction, mais également sur le comportement du traducteur, la stratégie et les procédés employés dans le transfert. Nous partons d’une hypothèse où le traducteur doit intervenir davantage et de façon plus nécessaire dans les textes enfantins que dans un texte pour adultes et nous voulons entériner si cet interventionnisme s’est produit selon les normes de traduction de l’époque. This paper addresses the first translation into Galician of Le Petit Prince by Saint-Exupéry (O Principiño, 1972). The novelty of our study is derived from having handled the manuscript version of the translation. In this paper, we provide a documentary analysis on the reasons that led to translate this work, but also on the translator behavior, the strategy and the procedures used in the transfer.
