<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es_ES" mdschema="dc">El presente estudio se centra en la educación remota de emergencia en tiempos de pandemia en un colegio de Alto Hospicio, donde los docentes utilizan diversas metodologías en la aplicación de sus prácticas docentes de la asignatura de ciencias para la ciudadanía. Se utilizó la metodología de carácter cualitativa con la finalidad de conocer y describir el rol docente y su descripción de los estudiantes en la modalidad remota, en los cuatro niveles educativos de primer a cuarto año medio. La muestra efectiva fueron 2 docentes y como técnica de recolección de datos se utilizó una entrevista en profundidad que fue trabajada a través de categorías. Como conclusiones se destaca el uso de recursos tecnológicos y las particularidades de los docentes para motivar e incentivar al alumnado.</dim:field>
<dim:field element="description" qualifier="abstract" language="es_ES" mdschema="dc">This study focuses on emergency remote education during covid-19 crisis in a school in Alto Hospicio - Chile, where teachers use different instructional methods in the subject of Science in Society. A qualitative methodology was used in order to know and describe the teaching role and its description of the students in remote learning, implemented in secondary levels from 9th to 12th grade. The effective sample consisted of two teachers and an in-depth interview was used as a data collection technique, which was worked through categories. The main conclusions of this study were use of technological resources and the particularities of the teachers to motivate and encourage students.</dim:field>
