En este artículo se analiza la figura del gracioso Pasquín de La cisma de Inglaterra de Calderón. Se exponen aquellos elementos que le hacen valedor de una especialización bufonesca en el área del gracioso: el loco doméstico cortesano. El dramaturgo recupera la figura del bufón como oráculo del mal y denunciador del comportamiento errático de Enrique VIII. It has been analysed the comic character Pasquín from La cisma de Inglaterra by Calderón. Those elements that make him worthy of a jester specialization in the gracioso’s area are exposed as a courtly domestic fool. The playwright recovers the figure of the jester as an oracle of evil, censoring the erratic behavior of Henry VIII.
