dc.description.abstract | In this paper 1 discuss two songs in Carmina Burana which bear some reseinblance to Gaudeamus Igitur. They praise the indulgent and joyful life of youth set in constrast to the achings and pains of old age, in sight of the brevity of life. Some remarks are also made about their fitting place in the classical and medieval tradition. I also attempt a rhythmic translation into Spanish. | es_ES |
