A través
Romantic Philosophy characterizes the way of being Catalan with two main words: seny, common
sense, and rauxa, or rapture. Looking for the roots of this characterization, we find two Franciscan
thinkers, blessed Ramon Llull and Brother Francesc Eiximenis, representing these tendencies. Through
his life and writings, we try to collect what can be said about it.
