Análisis estratégico de la implantación de la bioeconomía circular en Andalucía a través del análisis DAFO

Abstract

Este artículo examina el contexto legislativo de la bioeconomía circular a distintos niveles - europeo, nacional y regional - destacando el favorable entorno normativo que ha promovido a Andalucía a avanzar en un modelo económico fundamentado en la bioeconomía circular. Además, se presenta el proyecto europeo ROBIN, que se erige como plataforma innovadora para la evolución de los modelos de gobernanza en este ámbito, propiciando la actualización y mejora de la Estrategia Andaluza de Bioeconomía Circular. Asimismo, se subraya el importante potencial que la amplia gama de recursos biomásicos de Andalucía ofrece, situando a la región a la vanguardia de la bioeconomía circular. También, se lleva a cabo un análisis DAFO para identificar las debilidades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades de la región, contribuyendo así al avance del modelo actual de bioeconomía circular. Finalmente, se identifican los desafíos futuros que implica el desarrollo de la bioeconomía circular en Andalucía, y cómo el proyecto ROBIN puede resultar clave para avanzar hacia una mayor gobernanza y un modelo económicamente sostenible.

This article examines the legislative context of circular bioeconomy at different levels -European, national, and regional -highlighting the favorable regulatory environment that has enabled Andalusia to progress towards an economic model based on circular bioeconomy. Additionally, it presents the European project ROBIN, which stands as an innovative platform for the evolution of governance models in this field, fostering the updating and improvement of the Andalusian Circular Bioeconomy Strategy. Furthermore, it emphasizes the significant potential offered by Andalusia's wide range of biomass resources, positioning the region at the forefront of the circular bioeconomy. Moreover, a SWOT analysis is conducted to identify the region's strengths, weaknesses,opportunities, and threats, thus contributing to the advancement of the current circular bioeconomy model. Finally, future challenges implied by the development of circular bioeconomy in Andalusia are identified, and how the ROBIN project can play a key role in advancing towards enhanced governance and a financially sustainable model.
