Análisis de tendencias de la aridez climática en las zonas regables de Andalucía

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se ha estudiado la aridez climática, procediendo al análisis de distintos índices de aridez en las zonas regables de la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía entre los años 2003 y 2017. Para ello, se han obtenido y validado los datos procedentes de las estaciones meteorológicas pertenecientes a la Red de Información Agroclimática de Andalucía. Con ellos y utilizando el software MatLAB, se han calculado los índices De Martonne, Emberger y UNEP para cada año en cada estación. Previamente se han aplicado una serie de procedimientos de validación para el control de calidad de los registros meteorológicos, permitiendo excluir datos que puedan ser anómalos, evitando así errores en los cálculos realizados posteriormente. Con los resultados de los índices de aridez se ha estudiado la variabilidad temporal analizando las tendencias siguiendo la metodología de Mann-Kendall y la variabilidad espacial a partir de mapas realizados con ArcGIS usando el krigeado para obtener aproximaciones de los índices en todo el territorio. En términos generales se ha detectado que existe una tendencia a que las zonas regables de Andalucía se conviertan en un territorio más árido con el paso de los años, aunque no se encontraron en la mayoría de las estaciones tendencias estadísticamente significativas para niveles de confianza superiores al 95%. En relación con la variabilidad espacio-temporal de la aridez, a la vista de los resultados obtenidos en este trabajo se puede afirmar que la aridez aumenta de oeste a este, siendo la zona más árida la provincia de Almería junto con zonas próximas, mientras que las zonas más húmedas se concentran en la parte sur-occidental.

The present work studies the climatic aridity, proceeding to the analysis of different indexes of aridity in the irrigable zones of the Autonomous Community of Andalucia between the years 2003 and 2017. In order to do this, data obtained from meteorological stations belonging to the Agroclimatic Information Network of Andalucia have been obtained and validated. With this data and using MatLab software, it was able to calculate De Martonne, Emberger and UNEP indices for each year in each station. Previously, a series of validation procedures have been applied for the quality control of meteorological records, allowing the exclusion of data that may be anomalous, therefore avoiding errors in subsequent calculations. With the results of the aridity indexes, the temporal variability has been studied by analysing the trends following the Mann-Kendall methodology and the spatial variability from maps made with ArcGIS using the kriging method to obtain approximations of the indexes throughout the territory. In general terms, it has been detected that there is a tendency for the irrigable areas of Andalucia to become a more arid territory with the passing of the years, although most of the stations did not find statistically significant trends for confidence levels higher than 95%. In view of the results obtained in this work and in relation to the spatial-temporal variability of aridity it can be stated that the aridity increases from west to east. The most arid zone being the province of Almeria together with nearby areas, while the most humid areas are concentrated in the south-western part.
