Arqueología y prensa local en Córdoba durante el último cuarto del siglo XX: una relación complicada

Abstract

En este trabajo analizamos la relación, en algunos momentos difícil y conflictiva, entre la investigación arqueológica desarrollada en Córdoba y la prensa local durante el último cuarto del s. XX. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo la consulta y revisión de los artículos aparecidos entonces en el Diario Córdoba. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es evaluar el tratamiento que la prensa cordobesa dio a la Arqueología en todas sus facetas, desde hallazgos fortuitos a excavaciones científicas o delitos contra el Patrimonio Arqueológico, entre el final de la dictadura franquista y los albores del s. XXI.

This present study analyzes the relathionship, in some moments difficult and contentious, between archaeological research developed in Córdoba and the local press during the last quarter of the 20th century. To this end, it has been conducted a consultation and review of articles appeared in the Diario Córdoba. The main objetive of this study is to evaluate the treatmen that the press of Córdoba gave to the Archaeology in all of its facets, from chance finds to scientific excavations or crimes against Archeological Patrimony, from the end of Francoist Spain and the beginning of the 21th century.
