Los folletos de salud pública: un análisis terminológico y fraseológico alemán-español

Abstract

Los folletos de salud son textos que pertenecen al género divulgativo y desde hace pocos años han suscitado un especial interés de estudio. Los folletos, per se, poseen una clara función comunicativa, dado que constituyen una herramienta importante en la transmisión de información de índole médica, influenciando en las actitudes del receptor. A pesar de ser textos especializados, están orientados a un público amplio, no experto, dada su sencillez terminológica y fraseológica. En este sentido, el objetivo del presente trabajo es realizar, a través de un corpus comparable bilingüe, un análisis terminológico y fraseológico de folletos cuya temática es el VIH/SIDA. De este modo, se puede observar la frecuencia de uso, los fenómenos y estructura léxicos, así como la fraseología. Para ello, es necesario explicar las tres bases esenciales que orientan este trabajo: las campañas informativas de salud pública alemán-español, los folletos de salud en alemán y el lenguaje biosanitario alemán-español. Asimismo, con un propósito ejemplificativo, se presenta la traducción al español de un folleto de salud escrito en alemán y su análisis textual, mostrando los aspectos lingüísticos y extralingüísticos que intervienen en estos textos.

Medical brochures are texts that belong to the informative genre and a few years ago have attracted a special interest in studies. The brochures, per se, have a distinct communicative function, since they are an important tool in the transmission of medical information which influences the attitudes of the recipient. In spite of being specialized texts, they are focused on a broad and non-expert audience, due to their terminology and phraseology simplicity. In this context, the aim of the present work is to perform, through a bilingual comparable corpus, a terminological and phraseological analysis of brochures whose theme is HIV/AIDS. In this way, it is possible to observe the frequency of use, lexical phenomena and structure, as well as the phraseology. To do this, it is necessary to explain three essential bases that guide this work: the German- Spanish public health information campaigns, the German health brochures and the German-Spanish medical language. Also with an illustrative purpose, the translation into Spanish of a medical brochure written in German and its textual analysis is presented showing the linguistic and extra-linguistic aspects that participate in these texts.
