Dios, libertad y amor en Duns Escoto

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se muestra el valor que da Duns Escoto a la defensa de Dios, entendido como Amor, que actúa de modo absolutamente libre, siendo omnipotente. Así mismo, se muestran las implicaciones de su posición filosófica a la hora de afrontar las relaciones entre fe y razón, teología y filosofa, entendimiento y voluntad, necesidad y contingencia, o a la hora de leer la obra de Aristóteles: El Filósofo.

Relations God, liberty and love in Duns Scot. This paper examines the value awarded by Duns Escoto to the defence of god —understood as Love— who acts in a completely free mannner and is omnipotent. I also studies the implications of his philosophical position when confronting the hips between faith and reason, theology and philosophy, intellect and will, necessity and contingency. His analysis of The Philosopher, Aristotle, is also discussed.
