Un fragmento de capitel ibérico procedente del yacimiento de Los Villares de Andújar (Jaén)

Abstract

This paper seeks present a fragment of Iberian capital discovered at Los Villares de Andújar (Jaén). We would like with it to show, on the one hand the importance of this site, so unknown now adays and on the other hand the necessity of carring out studies with new traces about the subject of the Iberian architectural elements. As conclusions, we propose differents hypothesis about the place of making, cronology and capital context.

Este artículo pretende dar a conocer un fragmento de capitel ibérico hallado en Los Villares de Andújar (Jaén). Se intenta así llamar la atención, por un lado sobre este importante yacimiento, tan desconocido en la actualidad, y por otro sobre la necesidad de realizar nuevos planteamientos abordando el tema de los elementos arquitectónicos ibéricos. Como conclusiones, planteamos diversas hipótesis sobre el lugar de ejecución, cronología y contextualización del capitel.
