En las siguientes líneas pretendemos analizar la situación de la mujer en los contenidos didácticos de las Ciencias Sociales en 1º de ESO. Concretamente analizaremos los roles iconográficos de la mujer en la Edad Antigua que se reflejan en las ilustraciones de cuatro editoriales de la región de Andalucía: Everest, Oxford, Santillana y Vicens Vivens, y la relación que tienen con las profesiones, actitudes y actividades cotidianas de las mujeres actuales. Finalmente, el estudio se completa con un cuestionario diseñado por el alumnado universitario del Grado de Educación Primaria de la Universidad de Córdoba para aplicarlo a un grupo de primer curso de Educación Secundaria. In the following lines we analyze the situation of women in the educational content of social sciences in first course of Secondary School. Specifically analyze the iconographic roles of women in ancient age reflected in the illustrations of four publishers in the region of Andalusia: Everest, Oxford, Santillana and Vicens Vivens, and the relationship they have with the professions, attitudes and daily activities today's women. Finally, the study is completed with a questionnaire designed by university students of Grade Primary Education at the University of Cordoba to apply to a group of first course of Secondary Education.
