España y el desafío yihadista del contexto mediterráneo sur y del Sahel

Abstract

El breve capítulo desarrolla presentación acerca del impacto para España del terrorismo de porte neosalafista procedente del Mediterráneo sur y, muy particularmente, de la región del Magreb occidental. La aproximación también tratará de recordar que el Sahel es frontera geopolítica del extremo sur europeo y que a partir de las dinámicas allí acontecidas, la inestabilidad de esta región amenazaría con propagarse a otros países vecinos directos de la Unión Europea y de España misma.

The brief chapter develops a presentation about the impact for Spain of neo salafisme type terrorism coming from the southern Mediterranean and, very particularly, from the Western Maghreb region. The approach will also try to remember that the Sahel is the geopolitical frontier of the extreme south of Europe and that from the dynamics there, the instability of this region would threaten to spread to other direct neighbors of the European Union and Spain itself.
