La epigrafía minera romana del distrito de Linares-La Carolina (Jaén)

Abstract

En este trabajo se presenta un análisis exhaustivo de las inscripciones, impresas en diversos soportes, asociadas a la actividad minera y metalúrgica romanas que se han documentado hasta la actualidad en la región minera de Sierra Morena oriental (provincia de Jaén). El estudio de estos epígrafes mineros nos va a proporcionar datos importantísimos para entender todo el entramado administrativo, fiscal, político y social que se articula en torno a esta actividad productiva.

In this paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the inscriptions in various printed media associated with mining and metallurgical Roman that have been documented until now in the mining region of eastern Sierra Morena (province of Jaen). The study of these headings miners we will provide data important to understand the whole fabric administrative, fiscal, political and social system that revolves around this productive activity.
