Abstract

El Libro penitencial de Alano de Lille, de finales del siglo xn, constituye un documento de enorme riqueza informativa sobre aquella época, y sobre temas muy variados: antropología, deontología médica, descubrimiento del individuo humano y su responsabilidad, distintas praxis en la administración de la penitencia, derecho y moral. Considero del mayor interés lo que refleja sobre el nivel en la concepción ética o filosofía moral, a que se llega en el discurrir del siglo en comparación con los siglos anteriores de la Alta Edad Media

The Penitential book of Alan of Lille, dating from the end of the XIIth century, represents a document containing plenty of information about that time, and about a variety of different aspects such as antropology, medical deontology, discovering of the human individual and his responsibility, different praxis in the administration of the penance, right and moral. I consider of big interest its reflection of the level of the ethical conception or moral philosophy, which is reached through the XIIth century, compared to the previous centuries of the High Middle Ages
