El tiempo en Agustín y Husserl

Abstract

Esta comparación entre el tiempo en Agustín y en Husserl muestra en primer lugar que ambos autores enlazan con la tradición platónica, donde el ser ideal tiene la primacía, y el tiempo aparece en el momento de configuración de la realidad finta y sensible. Expone la concepción del tiempo en cada uno de los autores comparados y termina mostrando que el concepto fundamental de coincidencia es la distensión (en el alma [Agustín], en el yo [Husserl], y que en Agustín predominan las huellas de la memoria, mientras que Husserl tiene una doctrina mucho más elaborada sobre la peculiaridad de los actos constituyentes.

This comparison of time in Augustine with time in Husserl demonstrates first that both authors connect with the Platonic tradition, where ideal existence has primacy, and time appears at the moment of configuration of finite and sensible reality. It explains the conception of time in both authors, showing that the fundamental coincidence is ‘distension’ (in the soul, for Augustine; in the ego, for Husserl), and that ‘traces’ of memory predominate in Augustine, whereas Husserl maintains a more elaborate doctrine of peculiarity of the constituting acts.
