Ibn al-Khaṭīb (1313-1375) is mainly known as a litterateur, but he was also an engaged politician
who held the office of vizier in the Nasri kingdom of Grenada. His political ideas were related to his wish
to justify his involvement in political affairs and, in particular, his position as a powerful vizier.
