Remembranza de El Edificio Carolino de Puebla, México

Abstract

La presente comunicación tiene como objetivo compartir antecedentes de El Edificio Carolino, asiento de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, siendo éste un complejo arquitectónico que desde su fundación, que data a finales del siglo XVI, ha mantenido como misión “la educación en todas sus formas”. Siendo la Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (B.U.A.P.), hasta los tiempos actuales, la Institución que ocupa el edificio, brindando atención administrativa a los integrantes de la comunidad universitaria, en las diferentes oficinas que instaladas en el Edificio. Con el propósito de dar a conocer la historia y origen de El Edificio Carolino de Puebla, lo cual nos conduce inevitablemente hablar de historia de la B.U.A.P., su origen, estructura, misión, visión, programas de estudio y modelo de enseñanza aprendizaje, pues es parte integral de las actividades que se han realizado en tan emblemático Edificio. Se pretende además con la actual comunicación, propiciar vínculos internacionales entre instituciones de nivel superior, así como el conocimiento e intercambio entre las diferentes universidades de los distintos países.

The objective of this communication is to share the background of El Edificio Carolino, seat of the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla, this being an architectural complex that since its foundation, which dates back to the end of the 16th century, has maintained as its mission "education in all its shapes". Being the Autonomous University of Puebla (B.U.A.P.), until the present times, the Institution that occupies the building, providing administrative attention to the members of the university community, in the different offices that are installed in the Building. With the purpose of making known the history and origin of El Edificio Carolino de Puebla, which inevitably leads us to talk about the history of B.U.A.P., its origin, structure, mission, vision, study programs and teaching-learning model, since it is integral part of the activities that have been carried out in such an emblematic building. It is also intended with the current communication, to promote international links between higher level institutions, as well as knowledge and exchange between the different universities of the different countries.
