Lo social en lo cultural: cultura material e inmaterial en la Córdoba del Cardenal Salazar a través del estudio de diversos protocolos notariales

Abstract

En este trabajo seguiremos reconstruyendo la biografía del cardenal Salazar con análisis y estudio patrimonial de la vida cotidiana cordobesa que pontifica. Por abundante documentación, lo que inicialmente era un estudio diacrónico de lo referido en tres años testigos como son 1690, 1700 y 1710, ha pasado a aplicarse al año tipo de 1700 precisamente como año bisagra entre el Seiscientos y el Setecientos, y en la madurez de su prelatura fijándonos en cómo la sociedad cordobesa se comporta y responde ante cuestiones como la Iglesia, la muerte, el matrimonio, la familia, el sexo, lo trascendente y lo banal. Para ello, utilizaremos dos recursos documentales: dotes y testamentos.

In this work we will continue reconstructing cardinal Salazar´s biography with analysis and heritage study of the daily life of Cordoba that he pontificates. Due to abundant documentation, what was initially a diachronic study of what was referred to in three witness years such as 1690, 1700 and 1710, has now been applied to the typical year of 1700 precisely as a hinge year between the six and seven hundred, and at maturity of his prelature, looking at how the cordovan society behaves and responds to issues such as the Church, death, marriage, family, sex, the transcendent and the banal. To do this, we will use two documentary resources: dowries and wills.
